Following established procedures, the draft regulation is undergoing internal preliminary review within the U.S. Department of Justice. Following the preliminary review, the proposed regulation will be published in the Federal Register inviting comment from the public. Comments from the field will be studied and the proposed guideline modified as appropriate.
