OJJDP Peer Reviewer Application Address Now Active

April 22, 2009

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) greatly appreciates the response of JUVJUST subscribers to our recent call for additional peer reviewers for its FY 2009 discretionary grant applications.

As the result of an unforeseen delay in activating the e-mail address provided in that announcement, early applicants were unable to transmit their resumes. We apologize for this inconvenience and are pleased to report that the address is now active.

Applicants who have not transmitted their information by alternate means in the interim are encouraged to reapply by attaching an up-to-date resume or curriculum vitae to an e-mail addressed to OJJDP.discretionary@usdoj.gov with “Peer Reviewer Candidate” in the subject line. New applicants are also welcome. Be sure to note your areas of expertise in the message body and to provide complete contact information, including your e-mail address. Prospective peer reviewers will be contacted by OJJDP's peer review contractor.

In view of the problem cited above, the application deadline has been extended to May 4, 2009.
